ILIJIN X OKOK
Collaboration work painted between Jacqueline Östlind and Thomas Gunnarsson, painted on the same canvas, at the same time. A very playful, experimental journey between two artists having to share the same space. Thomas and Jacqueline where during this period very generous with the paint, letting it dry in big chunks, giving the paintings a lot of texture.

SANDRO

Sandro is a turnable mixed media piece full of texture and color. Thomas and Jacqueline had a hard time agreeing on which direction to go. After a long process Jacqueline said that she finally likes it and to her surprise Thomas agreed. Thrilled to finally progress Jacqueline picked it up from the table and hung it on the wall. He went silent for a while befor asking why she had hung it upside down.
The decision to sign it both ways was made and when later exhibited, both artists took turns to flip it around.

While AI as turning into a common hot topic, Jacqueline & Thomas painted this big piece reflecting what dystopic or utopian affects the new technology may bring. In 2019 it was a part of the exhibition "Målar du något fult så målar jag över" (If you paint something ugly, I'll paint over it).

This piece was a big dispute between Thomas and Jacqueline. Not agreeing over the upcoming design, the piece collected many layers over any non-satisfactory parts. Thomas confiscated it into another room. By scraping, spraying, tearing off and smearing textures he changed the whole appearance of the piece and the couple decided to announce it as complete.

This piece was painted on stage during an event with Campo Viejo. Two big canvases where set up next to each other and Thomas & Jacqueline would take turns on each of the canvases until finished.

This piece was was a shared favourite during the exhibition "Utbölingar & Influencers" (Outcasts & Influencers). Depicting one of the influencers, Malcom was the first piece to sell due to his very trendy jacket.
